5 luxury RVs that dreams are made of
Plush queen beds, touch-screen control panels, bosh appliances, handcrafted cabinetry and surround sound systems can now all be found in luxury RVs. If you’re prepared to invest, you can be living the high life with a different view every day. Here are five motorhomes to aspire to.

Paradise, Independence Series
Several years ago, I rolled out of Paradise’s manufacturing base in Queensland in an Independence Series Motorhome for a 1,000-kilometre trip up the coast, and it ruined road tripping for life. Nothing could come close to this ultra-luxury experience. This isn’t just a motorhome; it’s the epitome of luxury on wheels. All sleek and stylish with dual slide-outs and touch-screen tech. We were travelling with our two children, and not only was there room enough for everyone (with a couch that folded out to a bed big enough for them both), we were literally the talk of the town in every park where we pulled up.
Mark Dixon from JB Group, which owns Paradise, says the Paradise Independence redefines motorhome luxury – every inch crafted to deliver the comfort, technology, and elegance of a five-star suite on wheels.
“Proudly 100 per cent Australian made in Queensland, Paradise combines superior craftsmanship with sophisticated, practical design for an indulgent travel experience.
“It’s not just an RV; it’s a mobile luxury residence built for travellers who expect the very best.
“With its dual slide-outs, premium appliances, and meticulously designed interiors, the Independence stands at the top of its class – no compromises, no shortcuts. Advanced technology, touch-screen controls, and quality appliances make travel effortless, while handcrafted cabinetry and plush furnishings elevate comfort.”
RRP: from $548,880

Latitude, Meridien
Priced much the same as Paradise, the Meridien is another example of an exceptional Australian-made, ultra-luxury RV. There’s suspension swivel heated leather seats, 43” Smart TV outside, with the option to accommodate a barbecue, multi-zone audio system and Bosch kitchen appliances. A plush queen-size bed and Bosch washer/dryer combo in the bathroom.
Co-founder Ben MacLean says, “Every aspect of the construction is designed in the latest Solid Edge 3D modelling software, tested and then CNC cut to ensure high levels of accuracy and a perfect fit everytime”.
“Top of the range Blum cabinetry hardware and solid stainless steel self-locking cabinet latches finish off the fit out perfectly and ensure everything is secure while travelling.
“A high-strength alloy frame coupled with our innovative slide-out gives your composite motorhome body a sturdy foundation. With ease of use a priority for the design, you will see features like the storage lockers that move with the slide out, the spare tyre location, slide out gas bottles and convenient filling of the generator fuel tank.”
RRP: from $548,000
Sunliner, Monte Carlo
Step inside this motorhome and you’ll forget you’re even in an RV. Sunliner says it uses ‘residential-amenities’, and it shows. Inside is an all-luxury leather lounge and zoned living areas with sliding and bi-fold doors. Outside is an electric awning to cover the entertainment area, which includes a sink, gas barbecue, fridge, sound system and another TV.
Sunliner owner Nick Hunter says, “Designed for indulgent, long-term touring, it delivers residential-style comfort, generous storage and a refined interior environment that stands at the top of its class”.
“For too long, size and price have dictated what is ‘luxury’ when it comes to recreational vehicles in Australia. We believe the term ‘luxury’ is thrown around unjustifiably in our industry. Luxury should not be defined by size or a list of options, but by intention and considered design; where every detail serves a purpose and every material or substrate is chosen for how it feels as much as how it performs.”
Hunter says an example of that is how by “pushing against trends” it purposely uses matt, satin or upholstered finishes on wall linings and joinery, not only to soften the space, but to hide fingerprints and dust whilst out on the road.
“This balance of design precision and human-centred thinking results in luxurious recreational vehicles that feel curated rather than constructed.”
RRP: from $460,693

Jayco, Signature
Priced a few hundred thousand less than those above, you can still be living a life of RV luxury in this cleverly made motorhome. There are heated front seats, dual-slideouts, leather upholstery, an open-plan living with dining/lounge area and touchscreen control panel.
A full kitchen makes cooking easy, and you can travel with the whole family with a floor plan where there are two double beds.
Jayco’s Anthony Divers says in short, “The size, dual slide-outs, premium finishes, integrated technology, power systems and appliances all come together to make the Signature one of the most capable and comfortable motorhomes Jayco offers”.
RRP: $286,541 AUD

Kimberley, Kruiswagen Ecoscape
Coming in under the $245k mark is a motorhome that’s not only got all the mod cons you’d want for luxury living on the road, but it’ll also get you off-grid. All the furniture, cabinets and tables are made with high-grade alloy, high molecular weight thermoplastic and composites. Outside kitchens use marine-grade stainless steel, giving high strength-to-weight and maximum weather resistance.
Kimberley managing director James Cockburn says this is, however, not a vehicle for weekend warriors.
“It’s built for serious remote touring where reliability and self-sufficiency actually matter. The off-grid systems work as advertised, the build quality reflects Kimberley’s 30 years of experience, and the design shows a genuine understanding of how people actually use motorhomes for extended touring.
“The 4.5-metre electric awning extends your living space significantly, and if you’re keen, you can add walls and flooring to create a proper annex room underneath.
“It’s specifically designed for travellers who want to explore remote Australia with minimal compromises on comfort and capability.”
RRP: from $244,340
