BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park has been crowned Australia’s best caravan and holiday park at the 2025 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, marking the fourth consecutive year a property from the BIG4 network has claimed the national title.
Held annually, the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards recognise excellence across the country’s tourism sector, with more than 170 finalists competing across 26 categories. BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park secured the Gold award in the caravan and holiday parks category, earning national recognition for its outstanding guest experience and commitment to continual improvement.
Located in Helensvale on the Gold Coast and set among 32 acres of lush sub-tropical gardens, the park has become a popular resort-style destination for families, couples and travellers alike. Guests can enjoy a range of facilities including a sprawling water park, resort-style pool, jumping pillow, dog-friendly accommodation and a licensed poolside café.
General Manager Lee Morgan said the win was a proud moment for the entire team.
“This is something we’ve worked incredibly hard for, and to win Gold at the national level for the first time is a moment I’ll never forget,” Morgan said. “This award belongs to every member of our team, who show up every day and pour their heart into creating an experience our guests truly love.”

The achievement continues a remarkable run of success for the BIG4 network. In 2024, BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort was inducted into the Hall of Fame after securing three consecutive Gold awards at the national tourism awards.
BIG4 Holiday Parks CEO Sean Jenner said the latest win reflects the high standards across the network and the growing popularity of caravan and holiday park holidays in Australia.
“BIG4 Gold Coast has built something genuinely world-class – the kind of experience that sets the benchmark for what a great Australian holiday looks like.” Jenner said.
The award also highlights the strength of domestic tourism, with more Australians choosing caravan and holiday park stays not simply as a budget option, but as a holiday destination in their own right.
