Highlander Hike Hits High Country

Australia’s first Highlander Adventure launches in March with a supported alpine trek in Victoria’s High Country, followed by a second event in April on the NSW Central Coast.

Highlander Adventure hiking series will launch in March, bringing a five-day supported trek to the Victorian High Country. The inaugural event will start and finish at Mount Hotham, running from 18 to 22 March. Participants can choose from one to five days on the trail, trekking through the spectacular Alpine National Park, exploring historic huts and old mine sites and enjoying epic views along the way. At the end of the day, hikers arrive at a festival-like campground, where their accommodation, food, water and post-walk entertainment are taken care of. The second Australian Highlander Adventure hike will be held in Bouddi National Park on the New South Wales Central Coat from 18 to 19 April. Highlander Adventure is a global hiking series that began in Croatia in 2017 and has since expanded to more than 20 countries around the world.
