The Windsor Rapid is back with modern upgrades, off-road toughness, and quick setup. Choose from 3 hybrid caravan models perfect for couples or families. Designed for Aussie terrain.

The Windsor Rapid is back. Compact, off road ready, and perfect for remote Aussie RV trips.

Windsor RVs has redesigned and relaunched the Windsor Rapid – one of the most iconic and beloved models in the brand's history.

This new iteration is a more off-road capable model while still paying homage to the brand's heritage.

The Windsor Rapid range features three models – a 13-foot couples model, a 15-foot couples model with internal dinette, and a 15-foot bunk configuration for families. All models have an ensuite with a shower and Dometic cassette toilet.

Off-Road Hybrid Caravan Built for Tough Terrain

Equipped with 16-inch mud tyres and two full-size spares, the Windsor Rapid is ready for any off-road challenge. Its adjustable independent coil spring suspension with twin shock absorbers on each wheel ensures a smooth ride, excellent towing and handling, and ample ground clearance.

The Cruisemaster DO35 coupling provides a secure connection through uneven terrain, while the hot-dipped galvanised chassis with underbody Raptor coating is built for adventure.

Compact Off-Grid RV with Rapid Set-Up

True to its name, the Windsor Rapid offers a fast expandable set-up, increasing internal space to comfortably accommodate a king-size bed and functional living area. The fold-out and pop-up expanding space can be set up in under 10 minutes and securely locked into place for added peace of mind.

Windsor Rapid 2025 Off-Grid Capabilities

With 240 litres of freshwater capacity, two 135Ah lithium batteries, and six 100W solar panels (five on the 13-foot model) with a 2,000W inverter, the Windsor Rapid is prepared for long journeys to remote destinations. Enjoy the conveniences of home even in the most secluded locations.

The new Windsor Rapid maintains the DNA of the original Rapid models, honouring the philosophy of compact size for easy towing and storage matched with quick and easy-to-set-up expanding living space.

Storage and Load Flexibility for Adventurers

The Windsor Rapid offers plenty of storage and tie-down points, ready to be fully loaded with all the gear necessary for an exciting adventure. Features include full-width storage (Rapid 13 and 15B), fridge slide, and convenient storage lockers throughout. With a Tare weight of 2,450 kilograms (2,250kg for the 13-foot model) and an ATM of 2,990 kilograms, the new Windsor Rapid provides over 500 kilograms of load potential – allowing great flexibility when loading up with essentials for a remote trip.

Hybrid RV for Couples or the Whole Family

The new Windsor Rapid is available in three configurations:

  •  Rapid 13: 13-foot model. Comfortable accommodation for two with a king-size bed.
  •  Rapid 15D: 15-foot model. Providing expanded living space for two or three people. Includes an internal kitchen, dinette and king-size bed.
