Big Rig gatherings 2025: Connect, share, and plan your RV adventures at five nationwide events.

Since our 2023 articles in The Wanderer and enthusiastic member revival during 2024, our new members are growing exponentially. All are wanting to connect with, and learn from, other big riggers on the road. As a result, we are running five gatherings in 2025!

What Are Big Rig Gatherings?

Big Rig gatherings bring together RV enthusiasts with motorhomes, buses, trucks, and fifth-wheelers over 10 meters long. These events offer opportunities to connect, share tips, and learn from fellow travellers.

Why Join the Big Rig Community?

Our Big Rig gatherings are basic affairs, supporting small towns and offering our members time to relax, talk and compare notes on conversions, all things mechanical, the gamut of solar, gas and water systems, the best suppliers, and the best large camp spots.

We love our life on the road with our kids and pets, our space, home comforts and few weight restrictions. Newbies are fussed over, some turning up in smaller vehicles as they are contemplating buying a bigger rig or are in the process of building/converting one but not yet mobile. If you are one of these, then this is the place to come. Members are only too happy to share their knowledge.

We love to see your progress as you return with a bit more done at each following gathering. Adults and kids invariably find friends at gatherings, others to travel with, or people to visit in various parts of the country. There is a genuine camaraderie here. Our gatherings are not to be missed. It’s definitely time to start planning now!
